Bright Colour!

This is just a sampling of the plants listed on the 'Cream of the Crop' list (click on the link at the bottom of your emailed newsletter to see it all). All these pictures were taken in the nursery on Friday and represent the actual stock on offer.

This hybrid white Nemesia comes from the best range we've ever grown. FIRM stems that don't get all soft and floppy and of course, the heavenly scent of all Nemesias. 15cm pots @ R13.00

This slightly lower-growing Nemesia speaks for itself -  except that you can't smell a picture! It attracted a lot of attention at the recent CGF show. 15cm pots @ R13.00

There are a limited number of these 20cm Diascia 'Genta Pink', but they're so pretty, we thought you ought to see them! 20cm pots @ R20.35. 15cm pot Diascias are also available at R13.00.

Something we all know and love, and full of flowers and buds: Tecoma 'Rocky horror' in 25cm pots @ R40.20

Arctotis acaulis red are full of buds with occasional ones opening. We expect them to be flowering nicely by the end of the week. 4kg bags @ R7.60

Although calling the feathery, silver foliage of Artemesia afra (wildeals) 'colour', might be pushing the envelope, we can't resist adding  it to this page:  short, bushy plants and as full as you'll ever see them. 4kg bags @ R9.35

Pale blue, cascading Felicia 'Puntjie Blue' is an interesting natural hybrid. Its also very neat and low-maintenance when planted out in the garden. There are 4kg bags as well as 15cm pots available both @ R9.35

While most 'traditional' vygies are still in bud, Drosanthemum hispidum and D.floribundum are opening up beautifully. 4kg bags and 12.5cm pots @R7.35 and R7.15 respectively.

Rushia bina is perhaps not as spectacular in its flowering, but this flat-growing, interestingly textured succulent attracts a lot of deserved attention. 12.5cm pots @ R7.15

Have you ever tried Wild Garlic flowers in salads? Apart from being pretty, they add a garlic flavour. 4kg bags @ R7.55

Zantesdescia Green Goddess. We have about 100 of these in flower or bud. The early bird will catch them! 4kg bags @ R16.90

Watsonias (Vanilla Sky: R16.60, Bronze beauty: R12.95 and borbonica pink R16.60) are coming into bud and bloom.

Instant Garden! Lovely, full Euryops pectinatus in 10kg bags @ R17.95

Osteospermum Flowerpower and Ostica hybrids are our pride and joy. Densely branched plants loaded with buds and with the first blooms just opening. 'Red-Purple' above. 15cm pots@ R15.35

'Spider Purple' R15.35

'Red Zebra' opens pale pinky-white. Stripes in the petals darken in colour during flowering, in full bloom, it has white, pink and dark pink flowers at the same time. R15.35
